Plan installation before hardware reaches the field.

This indexable guide summarizes the commissioning sequence. The model-specific manual and a trained installer remain controlling documents.

Installation and commissioning overview.

  1. Inspect the tractor, implement and hydraulics before adding control hardware.
  2. Mount the GNSS antenna with a clear sky view and record its offset to the implement.
  3. Secure the terminal and ECU; protect cables from heat, pinch points and moving parts.
  4. Connect hydraulic control and verify raise, lower and manual-override directions.
  5. Enter dimensions, select correction, confirm a fixed solution and test at low speed.
  6. Record machine details, offsets, firmware, correction, calibration date and technician.

Safety note: This overview is not a substitute for the model-specific installation manual or trained installer. Do not operate automatic control until direction, limits, emergency override and safe clearances have been verified.

Calibration and pre-job checks.

Calibration aligns the digital reference with the machine and implement. Use a stable benchmark, confirm antenna and blade offsets, verify correction and check the implement on a known surface.

Record the design mode, values, benchmark and correction source. Recheck after moving hardware, changing implements, altering hydraulics, updating firmware or seeing repeated grade differences. Verify final grade using the approved survey method.
